VF111 Water based varnish
Insulation varnish, class H, with the following main properties:
-Free from solvents and other dangerous or hazardous material
-Not flammable
-Very good water release to guarantee a perfect insulation
-Reducible by water, excellent tank stability, stabilizing additives not required
-Low backing temperature, lower then traditional solvent varnishes
-Good flexibility, high bond strength, very good compatibility with any type of magnet wire
-Good electrical properties, good chemical and oil resistance
-Thermal class: H

Application and cure
This product can be reduce by 10-30% of water when used to impregnate medium-big size devices; in case of small motors or transformers percentage of water may be increased. Piece preheating is not required. Dipping must be done at room temperature. Suggested time and metal temperature: 30-60’ at 80-100℃+ 1-3 hours at 120-130℃.
General Information
Product is very stable and does not require additives to control pH.
Possible evaporation of water should be replaced by water addition in order to keep constant viscosity.
Product may freeze at 0℃ and therefore should be stored at temperature higher than 0℃.
Frozen varnish can be re-liquefied without any change in quality.
